About Dr. Julie Miller, DMD

Dr. Julie Miller joined Huntingdon Valley Dental Arts in July 2017. She grew up in Media, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Pittsburgh where Julie earned her Bachelor of Science degree and certificate in Dental Hygiene. Julie worked as a hygienist for 4 years before advancing to Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry to become a dentist.  Dr. Miller graduated summa cum laude and possesses dual certification as an RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) and DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry). Dr. Miller’s previous education and work experience provide emphasis on prevention and patient-centered care. Her expertise and passion for dentistry mirrors that of Dr. Makrauer.

Dr. Miller enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family. Her interests and hobbies include reading, running, eating, and vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey. She also loves dogs and greeting cards too! And she is a proud, avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

It was at Temple University that Dr. Makrauer mentored and, in turn, offered Dr. Miller the opportunity to join the Huntingdon Valley Dental Arts team as his associate.
